Physician, epidemiologist, and professor with extensive experience in clinical care, public health research, and teaching, particularly in resource-limited settings. My work focuses on epidemiological methods, adolescent mental health, and evidence-based approaches to improving health outcomes in Nigeria.

My professional journey has been driven by a deep commitment to understanding and addressing the complex determinants of health, particularly within resource-constrained settings like Nigeria.
As an epidemiologist, my work focuses on designing and implementing population-based studies that generate evidence to inform health policies and interventions. I specialise in survey methodology, non-communicable diseases, adolescent mental health, and the socio-environmental determinants of health. My current research includes a mixed-methods study exploring risk and protective factors for adolescent suicidal ideation in Ogun State, Nigeria.
In my role as a physician, I have provided frontline healthcare services in diverse clinical settings, combining evidence-based practice with a compassionate, community-oriented approach. This clinical background informs both my teaching and research, grounding theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts.
As a professor of epidemiology, I am passionate about nurturing the next generation of public health professionals. I currently teach postgraduate courses in epidemiological methods and research design, emphasising practical skills, critical thinking, and the ethical dimensions of public health inquiry. My lectures incorporate real-world case studies and are tailored to reflect the health realities of Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa.
Beyond academia and clinical work, I serve as a consultant to health organisations and government agencies, contributing to public health strategies and capacity-building initiatives. I believe in the transformative power of data, dialogue, and multidisciplinary collaboration to improve health outcomes at scale.
I am constantly seeking new ways to bridge gaps between research, practice, and policy, working toward a vision of equitable and evidence-driven healthcare for all.

With a strong foundation in clinical medicine and public health, I offer expert consultancy in the design, implementation, and evaluation of epidemiological studies and health programs.
